On January 29, 2025, ASNET, in collaboration with the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH global programme “Sustainable Agricultural Systems and Policies” (AgSys), hosted a one-day workshop to review and develop the association’s new strategic plan for the years 2025-2030. The event, held at Golden Tulip Hotel in Westlands, brought together ASNET members to provide valuable input and shape the direction of the organization in the coming years.
The workshop served as a key platform for members to discuss their perspectives and offer recommendations to guide ASNET’s priorities and actions. The session focused on ensuring that the strategic plan aligns with the evolving needs of the agricultural sector and effectively addresses challenges and opportunities in sustainable agricultural systems and policies.
Through this collaborative effort, ASNET aims to create a forward-thinking strategic roadmap that will continue to empower its members, enhance partnerships, and drive positive impact within the agricultural sector. The support from GIZ’s AgSys programme further strengthens the development of the plan, ensuring a comprehensive approach that incorporates global best practices.
ASNET looks forward to incorporating the insights gathered during the workshop into the final strategic plan, setting the foundation for success in the next phase of its growth and impact.
