The Agriculture Sector Network (ASNET), in collaboration with Partners in Transformation and the Agency for Business and Economic Development implemented by GIZ, has initiated a training program focused on incorporating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles into the business models of East African SMEs. This comprehensive program will include a series of eight training sessions.
To kick off the training program, ASNET organized a hybrid workshop on January 23, 2024, at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Westlands. Around 80 participants actively engaged in the workshop, eager to learn about the integration of ESG practices in their respective businesses. The next training is scheduled to take place on February 20, 2024 focusing on Introduction to ESG Fundamentals and strategies
